Although some may not be used to the graphics system, or the
gameplay but the story and system of the time ends up being a great game for its time.
The story also covers several points covered in later games.

Metal Gear Solid, the first Metal Gear game on the Playstation, debuted in 1998 and
was met with instant success. The game's careful plot construction and controversial
themes were new concepts to the gaming industry, and were well received by fans and
game developers alike. At the time of its release, MGS1 played excellently and was
highly detailed in both visual and audio effects. Coupled with the game's intricate plot
and high standard of voice acting it is still considered to this day to be one of the greatest
games of all time, and as a result, it has paved the way for several other successful
creative video games, in addition to the continuation of the Metal Gear Solid series itself.
